David founded ConsumerMedical in 1996 after twelve years in health care and information systems. David believes that consumers can help fix our health care system and that high quality, efficient clinical care can only be achieved when patients are well informed about their options and actively participate in decisions relating to their care.
Kyle is focused on establishing and managing company priorities to competitively meet market needs. He is also responsible for day-to-day operations of the company with sole oversight over operations/call center, research, technology, and finance. Prior to joining ConsumerMedical, Kyle served as Chief Operating Officer of MEP Health, an innovator in outpatient and emergency care, and was Vice President of Medical Record Review Operations for Inovalon.
Kevin leads Sales, Business Development and Account Management with over 23 years working in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining ConsumerMedical, Kevin led Sales and Market Development for Bloom Health, the first carrier-based private exchange in the United States. He also drove sales for CIGNA within their National Accounts team and Aetna within their middle market teams by working with consultants and employers. He worked closely with the product and marketing teams to innovate and deliver Advocacy solutions. He routinely led the country in production for both CIGNA and Aetna.
Cindi leads our physician staff and is responsible for our clinical strategy. She received her M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Slater is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and practices internal medicine at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Sue leads Product Management, Marketing, and Strategy at ConsumerMedical. In this capacity, she is responsible for setting the strategy and developing the roadmap, managing corporate marketing, branding and consumer engagement, and product management and innovation. Sue has over 25 years of experience working in diverse healthcare markets including payers, providers, and employers. She has held numerous executive positions at companies focused on population health management, consumer engagement, and decision support, including StayWell and OptumHealth.
Janet develops, communicates and implements strategies for business excellence and fosters a culture of business excellence throughout the organization, where continuous improvement and relentless learning is our way of working. Prior to joining the company, Janet served as Chief Operating Officer of MetaWorks, Inc., a health analytics consulting firm, and spent eighteen years in the financial services industry with responsibilities ranging from bank branch operations to compliance and fraud management.
Melissa leads the Account Management and Account Services departments with close to 20 years experience in the healthcare industry. She was formerly Assistant Vice President, Client Solutions, for The Health and Wellness Institute where she oversaw strategic management of seven departmental areas and was a key member of the company’s leadership team. Melissa has also held leadership positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island and UnitedHealthcare of New England, Inc.
Rich is a CPA and leads the accounting and finance function at ConsumerMedical. He brings over 25 years of experience—both private and public. He was a manager with Pricewaterhouse Coopers with responsibilities for both domestic and international engagements including servicing the Philip Morris family of companies (General Foods and Kraft Foods.) Additionally, Rich held leadership positions at various other companies before forming The Rich Gaffney Group, a professional services firm providing CFO support services. Rich graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Anya Kirvan leads the clinical operations at ConsumerMedical. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the development and deployment of products and services using the latest technologies to assure medical cost savings and improved health of the populations served. Anya is recognized as a clinical expert and has presented at numerous industry conferences and academic research forums. Prior to joining ConsumerMedical, she has held roles at organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.
Conor is a Principal at TT Capital Partners, where he works with a team that invests in high growth healthcare information technology and services companies. Prior to joining TTCP, Conor worked with TripleTree’s M&A advisory practice for three years. He previously worked at athenahealth, Reed Elsevier, and L.E.K. Consulting, primarily in roles focused on healthcare strategy, M&A, or the intersection of the two. Conor earned an A.B. degree in Politics from Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two boys.
Bill helps identify product, partnership and growth opportunities using his experience from a series of diverse management roles at major U.S. corporations. He has been a senior executive at UnitedHealth Group, including President of Optum, UHGs premier decision-support company, President of UHG Consumer Solutions, and a managing director at Piper Jaffray.
